Teóra

Teóra is a dual two player experience in Virtual Reality to explore the limits of perception that challenge our mind.

One player experiences Téora in the headset and one with a PDF and a microphone. They must work together in order to progress.

This creates the duality of the piece. It is currently location specific.

My role was to create the 3D Assets with Javier, texture the assets and to create the physical document that one player relies on.

Téora was created and exhibited during 'Future Landscapes' in May 2019.

Futures Landscapes was an intensive four-week program created in collaboration with the Moore Institute at NUI Galway and Galway 2020 with School of Machines Making & Make Believe.

The core learnings of the course was as follows;

Compelling us all is an interest in creatively exploring vast landscapes in the physical world and of the mind while gaining an understanding of the potentials of augmented-, virtual-, and mixed reality through a myriad of critical, conceptual, and hands-on approaches.

I was delighted to receive a bursary to attend by Galway2020.
